to the great navigator of Paraty).
Grilled regional fish, covered with grapes in white wine gravy sided
with a palmetto risotto.
:: Escalope Paulo Autran (homage
to an icon of the Brazilian theatre who now has an Inn here in Paraty).
Buttered file mignon escalopes, covered in Dijon and sesame mustard,
sided with potatoes cooked on pesto and nut sauce.

| Other options are the grilled PICANHA, shrimps
on herbs butter, soups, diversified entrées and many
pastas, all freshly produced in the Margarida Café. Every
day the Chef prepares one of his famous “today’s
special”. One with fish and another with meat, always
with an innovating recipe using fresh products. At dinner the
“chef’s suggestion”, which consists on a special
recipe based on sea food. All breads served in our restaurant
are baked on log wood fire oven. |

most famous is the Cod Pizza, with Portuguese olive oil, onions
and olives, another is dry meat with catupiry.

The Margarida Café is the only restaurant in
Paraty with a capacity for up to 170 people.
Therefore we can serve many travel agency groups, wedding
parties or other events, for dinner or lunch.
We have special menus maintaining the high quality
of our cuisine and service.
